Chordial Clusterfuck Prototype
A downloadable game
This is a prototype for a much larger game that im not entirely set on making. The idea of this prototype is to get the concept of a guitar fps game out there! The controls are kind of complicated so stick with me.
Movement: Mouse moves the camera, left click moves forward, right click moves backward
Attacking: The keyboard has been turned into a 6x3 grid, representing frets on a guitar. For the rows, W through U represents the first fret, S through J represents the second fret, and X through M represents the third fret. For the columns, W S X is the first string, E D C is the second string, R F V is the third string, T G B is the fourth string, Y H N is the fifth string, and U J M is the sixth string. This sounds super complicated, but just by spamming keys and looking at the fret UI in the top left corner, you can see what you're doing. Lastly, when you have your fingers placed, press the spacebar to strum! If you play a proper chord, you'll attack with a music note, if you play incorrectly, a bad sound will play. Have fun!

I really like the design for this! I hope you get time to work on this again, it'd be cool to hear how the chords and everything sound!
